Michael P. O’Connor is an associate in the Pasadena firm of Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell. Prior to coming to Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell, Mr. O’Connor worked for a litigation defense firm in Los Angeles where he represented Fortune 500 corporations and insurance companies in cases involving personal injury, products liability, automobile accidents, and premises liability. He also has represented clients in construction matters, breach of contract and employment.

 

An experienced attorney, Mr. O’Connor is adept at getting complicated disputes resolved. He has handled a wide array of cases from inception of the case to ultimate resolution, through motions, mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials.

 

Mr. O’Connor is admitted to practice law in both California and New York. During law school, he clerked for the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York. After receiving his J.D., he worked at a Buffalo-area plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. He conducted depositions and pre-trial motions in a variety of cases, including medical malpractice.

 

An avid hockey fan and former high school hockey coach, Mr. O’Connor is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association and the Irish American Bar Association.
